The Scouts are working with young people in their communities to organise joint peace education training days facilitated by local Scout leaders, for example in Koiratégui. During the training they explore what peace and conflict means to each individual and to various groups, they learn different ways of negotiating when faced with conflict, skills for discussion and the peaceful resolution of conflict and they use drama and the arts (plays, songs and sketches) to share their learning with other participants.

An important part of the training is the sharing of personal experiences. The training courses run have included young people from different cultural and religious backgrounds, and are hoped to strengthen local community spirit and cooperation.
