ScoutPAX

An educational resource, ScoutPAX has been developed to support the planning and implementation of the Gifts for Peace. It contains basic information on the concept Gifts for Peace, how to plan projects, and includes activities, information on topical social issues and games to further develop lifeskills.

Join-in-Centenary activities

4 activity packs containing activities for different age ranges. Pack 2 is the 'Peace Pack' containing peace-related activities.

Ideas on how to record messages for peace and examples of some of the messages created at the 21st World Scout Jamboree in the UK, 2007.

Building Peace Together

A resource containing 12 workshops which have been conducted, and refined in successive Global Development Villages at World Scout Jamborees. It is one of the World Organization of the Scout Movement's contributions to the International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World.

Gifts for Peace Activity Kit

GAPP activities

UK Scouts have developed the Global Awareness Partnership Project (GAPP) to engage young people in peer education on globalisation. Their website contains some great activities exploring issues such as health, justice, spending your money, the environment, landmines, refugees and mental health. Our Right to Be Protected from Violence

The United Nations Secretary General's Study on Violence against Children has developed two really great resources to use with young people aged 12-18 to help them to learn about these issues and including ideas for taking action against violence: 1.
