Scouts Prostar – A Malaysian Case
Scouts in Malaysia are working to create awareness among young people of the dangers of HIV/AIDS, and are learning how to stay healthy as well as to understand the issues faced by those who have contracted HIV/AIDS. Description
Scouts in Malaysia are working to create awareness among young people of the dangers of HIV/AIDS, and are learning how to stay healthy as well as to understand the issues faced by those who have contracted HIV/AIDS. Over 69,000 people (out of a population estimated to be just over 25 million) are living with HIV in Malaysia. This number is rising every year, and the Scouts realise that education is one of the best ways to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. |
