Scouts in Mexico are developing projects to help underprivileged groups in their communities, especially street children, ethnic minority groups, the elderly, children with cancer and children with AIDS.
Description
Each Scout group in Mexico is identifying an underprivileged group in its community and creating at least one project to help the people concerned. The groups are then reporting the results of their actions to be published on the scout website and in the national magazine.
This project involves each Scout group, and is reaching out to a large number of people in need. Moreover, as each group is responsible for identifying the needs of its community and finding an original solution to assist them, the projects will be tailored to meet the needs of the people who most need help.
