Scouts in Costa Rica are learning about environmental issues, and taking part in activities and voluntary service projects with other local organisations to safeguard the environment for future generations.
Description
Scouts will be involved in leading and managing the projects, promoting the projects at local and regional level, and in finding the resources to support the projects.
The activities will promote working relationships with local and national organisations whose ideals are compatible with those of the Scout Movement.
Through the activities there will be a shared approach to local problems and solutions. The projects will show the Scouting as an opportunity for positive lifestyle and personal development, and they will develop abilities and the knowledge of young people.
